I have a really unglamorous summer job – I’m working at a car shop. Teacher by school year, beauty salesperson by weekend, blogger by night…car shop receptionist/odds-and-ends person by summer? Yes.
The shop is run by this nice grandfather who has taken to calling me “girl.” Whenever he needs me to do something, he likes to reassure me with, “Don’t worry, you won’t get dirty girl.” But somehow I always do. Sort vehicle lightbulbs for inventory? Dirty hands. Brake pump to help drain the air from brakes? Dirty feet. Pick up the phone after boss touched it with oil hands? Now I have oil hands. Popping tags on and off key rings? Chipped nails. Gahhh.
Anyways, I tell you this so you can imagine my happiness at finding a sample of Blue Raspberry Sugar Scrub in the mail from Pretty and Polished! I came home from work in need of a good scrub, so the timing could not have been better. Thanks Chels!
Here is what Pretty and Polished has to say about this scrub:
Blue Raspberry Sugar Scrub is a delightfully sweet and tart scrub that will literally make your mouth water! You will find an exfoliator, soap, and moisturizer in this scrub. No need for lotion after your shower or bath!
Use scrub in bath or shower to gently exfoliate and rub dead skin cells away. Scrub will leave your skin feeling clean, moisturized, and smelling delightful!
Pretty & Polished sugar scrubs are always made with top quality raw ingredients and lots of love! They are 100% cruelty free and Vegan Friendly!
Here is what I have to say about this scrub – mmmmm! First of all, the Blue Raspberry Sugar Scrub smells amazing. It’s just the right amount of sweet and makes me think of candy. Secondly, this scrub left my skin smelling and feeling wonderful. It was gritty enough to really exfoliate and slough off all my dry, shop-ruined skin without being painful. It rinsed away cleanly and my skin felt soft and polished afterward. Plus I smelled delicious.
This scrub is available at the Pretty and Polished site in two sizes. A 4oz. container is $5 or a 8oz. container is $9. Go for the 8oz – this scrub is great and you get a dollar off by buying the larger size (because 4oz @ $5 each x2 = $10, just so that we’re all following my math).
What are your feelings towards sugar scrubs – are you a fan? Which Pretty and Polished Sugar Scrub scent sounds best to you? Let me know in the comments!

Try using a staple remover (the one with the 2 snake fang looking things on each side that you squeeze together) to take the tags or keys off of key rings. Save your nails!
I never thought of that – thanks for the great idea!
